Ibiza town is the capital of Ibiza and is on the south east coast of the island.  The old fortress city has led it to being declared a world heritage city.  Wander around the port area with it's designer shops and restaurants or go inside the city walls, strolling along the cobbled streets through the old town climbing higher until you reach the cathedral at the top with it's stunning views across the bay towards Talamanca and out to the island of Formentera.  It is up here where you will also find the archaeological museum.  At night the town comes alive with " the beautiful people", relax in one of the many bars watching the fascinating street parades from the famous clubs and bars go by.
